Complemar announces Suzanne Owens as new Account Executive

Complemar announces Stan Olevnik assuming the position of Vice President of Complemar Rochester Operations

February 2008 — Stan will be responsible for all Rochester Operations including fulfillment, packaging, inventory management, shipping & receiving as well as facilities management. Prior to joining us, Stan worked for D+S Distribution, Inc., a third party Logistics and Supply Chain Management Organization with about 125 employees since 1997. Previously he served as a Department Manager/buyer/production planner/supervisor at Rubbermaid, Inc. Stan received a BS in Electronics Engineering Technology from Ohio Institute of Technology in 1982.

Complemar announces Phil Chapados as new VP of Software Products

January 2008 — Phillip is responsible for software development, Information Technology, software, databases, hardware and telephones and internet connectivity at Complemar. Prior to joining Complemar, Phil served for the last 4 years as a software architect through his consulting company, Agile Systems. He served as Control Systems Engineering Director at CVC, acquired by Veeco Instruments, from 1994-2003. Previously he served as a member of Technical Staff at Texas Instruments. Phil received his PhD & MSEE in Electrical Engineering from Southern Methodist University, and a BSEE from Johns Hopkins University.

Complemar announces Jack Keck as new Account Executive

October 31, 2007 — Jack Keck will be responsible for sales activities, from lead generation through close, as well as activities related to maintaining and growing customer accounts. Jack was previously employed at Vertis Communications for 10 years where he held roles as Sales & Business Development Manager and Client Service/Response Management Manager. He also worked at First Federal Savings & Loan/HSBC Bank USA as the Director of Central Operations, and the University of Rochester/Strong Memorial Hospital as a Buyer/Contracts Administrator. Jack holds a BS in Business Administration from RIT, and has extensive training in sales, project management, customer service, team development, time management, process re-engineering and business communications.

Complemar announces new Sales Manager

August 6, 2007 — Sandy Hess has been appointed Sales Manager of Complemar. Prior to joining Complemar, Sandy served for the last six years as Director of Inside Sales & Customer Service at General Code, a publisher and document management provider for the public sector located in Rochester. She was previously employed at Impco/Webcraft/Vertis for eight years where she held roles as Customer Service Manager, Account Manager and Fulfillment Channel Manager. She also worked at ABBKent-Tayor as Printing Supervisor and Marketing Manager and gained experience in the Pharmaceutical market when she worked at Pennwalt as a Chemical Technician. Sandy holds a BS in Graphics Arts & Printing from RIT and has taken numerous graduate management courses.

2006 St. Patrick’s Day Charity Gala Success

Catholic Family Center’s (CFC) 14th Annual St. Patrick’s Day Charity Gala, held on Friday, March 10 at the Hyatt Regency Rochester, drew a record crowd of more than 610 people and raised more than $150,000 to benefit the agency’s programs and services.

This elegant evening was truly one to remember!

Excitement was in the air as the evening got underway. The night was filled with wonderful music and dance as well as fine food and friends. The guests dined and danced to the music of Gap Mangione. Susan R. Holliday receives the 2006 CFC Award from Gala Honoree chairperson Laura Saxby Lynch and John R. Lynch and last years CFC Award Honoree Tom Golisano.

The main feature of this black tie event was the presentation of the 2006 CFC Award to this year’s honoree Susan R. Holliday, President & Publisher of the Rochester Business Journal. This award is given annually to an individual or individuals who exhibit an exemplary spirit of devotion to local human service agencies and community organizations.
