The entire order and distribution process is managed by Complemar's customized fulfillment management system, designed twenty years ago when fulfillment ERP systems were not common. Over the years the system has been continually updated and improved to integrate all company departments and functions, resulting in an extremely robust ERP application.
Complemar has a dedicated section of the building set up for a structured flow of orders. Frequently ordered inventory items are slotted on shelves and coded for location. Conveyors lead from this area to pack-stations, then to meters and onto staged courier trucks.
The Pick / Pack process begins with the printing of your branded Shipping Document. This document communicates the order and delivery requirements, in addition to providing our picker with the location of all items. Having the location on the order form expedites the picking and provides more accuracy in the process. When packaging the items for shipment, our packer compares the items to be shipped to the Shipping Document ensuring accuracy of the order.
Our 60+ years in the packaging business gives us the expertise to wrap all products to arrive in good condition and labeled to our client's specifications. This applies to merchandise packed and shipped to consumers, as well as full-pallet shipments to retailers.
